2024 Jumps Ahead League 

Muskerry will be hosting the ever popular Jumps Ahead League in October / November in Ballindenisk (T56 YX60). Many thanks to O'Brien's Saddlery for their continued sponsorship of this event. 

Dates for 2024 are Oct 13th, 27th, Nov 10th and Final Nov 17th

Jumps Ahead is open ALL current and active members of the Irish Pony Club. For 2024 there will be non-competitive/clear round starter stakes class (50cm) along with the six league classes at heights that should suit all - 60cm, 70cm, 80cm, 90cm, 1m and 1.1m. There will be clear round rosettes for the 50cm and rosettes for (1-6) in the league classes at each qualifier as well as league points for a double clear. 

The Final is open to any combination that has participated (irrespective of score) at two qualifiers. The final will feature prizes for 1-6 as well as a prize for the winner of the league in each class. There will also be a prize for the best turned out combination in each class at the final with thanks to The Happy Hound Pet Grooming.

The Dr Anne Crowley Perpetual Cup will be presented at the final in memory of Anne's contribution to Muskerry Pony Club and Area 5 of the Irish Pony Club.

Please note there is a comprehensive rules document below that all participants should read in full to ensure compliance with the competition requirements. DC's can request a copy of this rules document by emailing muskerryponyclubcork@gmail.com. Each DC should ensure that all their entrants comply with the competition rules.

Please note Muskerry Pony Club reserve the right to alter, cancel or change any aspect of this competition should it be deemed necessary. However we hope the league will run smoothly and that members will enjoy jumping in a top class venue.
