IPC National Hunter Trials 2025

What a day out at the IPC National Hunter Trails Championships in Ballycahane.Well done to Isabelle, Sophie, Ellie, Seodín, Lucy, Libby, Isobel, Fia, Aoibhinn and Emily on representing Muskerry Pony Club, a great day out for everyone. We are so proud of you all!!!

C Test 2025

Well done to all the members who passed their C test in April. As always, we are so proud of all of you. You all put in great effort through the training, mock test, and the final exam—it really shows, and you should be proud of yourselves! Well done Keelin, Elizabeth, Fia, Leah, Seódín, Julianna, Anna, Alexis (South Union) Hannah, Charlie, Klara & Aimee. We weren't able to get photos due to the weather which just further shows the dedication of the kids to the test to go through the inclement weather to still pass with flying colours!!

Thanks to John Crean for the use of his facilities for the Jumping & Stable Management Training & to John and Eileen at Coachford Equestrian for the XC Training, along with the Mock Test & Final Test. Thanks to our instructors - Molly O'Connor & Aoife McSweeney, Caroline Neville (Area 5 Training Rep) & Vicky Curtin for examining the Mock and to Shota Niikura & Christine Morrissey for examining the test.

Thanks also to our own Ella Buttimer, Muskerry PC member & Foundation Coach, who shadowed the training and exams to expand her knowledge to further her Pony Club instructing career!!

C+ Test 2025

Congratulations to all the Muskerry Pony Club members who passed their C+ test in March. We are so proud of all of you, your dedication through the training sessions, mock test and formal test was exemplary. Well done Sasha, Libby, Katie, Ava, Avril, Kayla, Aoibhinn and Emily. Thanks to Marie Hennessy and Molly O'Flynn for the excellent coaching and instruction, and to John and Eileen and all at Coachford Equestrian for the use of their fantastic facilities for the training. D/D+ Test 2025

Huge well done to all 16 members who completed and passed their first Irish Pony Club Exam in March! Thanks to Vicky for all her hard work over the last few weeks helping the kids get ready for the test and to Christine our examiner, as always we are so grateful to the Lee Valley Equestrian Centre for being so accommodating.

2024 C Test

Well done to Lucy, Sophie, Libby, Katie, Kayla, Avril, Sasha, Kate, Caoimhe, Zuzia, Tara, Josie and Isobel who all successfully passed their C test . A great achievement. Thanks to Lee Valley for the use of their fantastic facilities.

Members Emily and Sasha headed to the Curragh to take part in the IPC Exhibition Race following The Rockshore Maiden over a mile and a half. What an experience!

2024 D&D+ Test
April 2024

Super proud of our youngest members starting their learning journey by passing their D&D+. The test was held in late April and we are delighted that all candidates passed. Onwards and upwards for Katie, Libby, Tara, Eabha, Alex, Kayla, Avril, Isobel, Kate and Sasha

Riding & Road Safety Exam - February 2024

2024 began with our Riding & Road Safety training and the test was held in late February. Muskerry were delighted that all 14 members who undertook the training passed their Riding and Road Safety Test. They knew their stuff and were able to cope with everything they encountered on the road. Well done to Jude, Tom, Sasha, Emily, Amy, Elie, Sophie, Daragh, Ava, Kayla, Avril, Sophie, Kate and Isabelle!
